"Cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT) are based on the premise that people’s behaviors influence their thoughts, while their thoughts likewise influence their behaviors. Therefore, from a CBT perspective, psychological symptoms can be alleviated by restructuring the problematic thoughts and/or behaviors that underlie the symptoms.
Applied to the practice of forensic treatment, CBT involves assessing the client’s functioning in the criminal risk domains associated with reoffending and identifying the criminogenic thinking patterns and lifestyle factors (unhealthy routines, relationships, and habits) that facilitate the client’s antisocial behavior.
Once identified, the relevant thinking patterns and lifestyle factors are targeted for change in the context of a collaborative therapeutic alliance. Support for the effectiveness of CBT in forensic treatment has come from meta-analyses indicating its effectiveness in reducing general, sexual, drug-related, and violent recidivism.
CBT is utilized in group and individual treatments in community and institutional forensic settings. More recently, attempts have been made to integrate CBT into the practice of community supervision by training probation and parole officers to use CBT techniques in their supervision sessions with their clients.
These initiatives have shown promise in improving officer communication skills, focusing supervision sessions on relevant thinking and behavior patterns, and, most importantly, reducing reoffending among clients serving their sentence in the community".

When does and act become a crime? Actus reus and the state of mind. - Antecedent - a thing or event that existed before or logically precedes another through a continued chain of events determining root causation (a strong relationship between cause and effect.)
A polygraph, apparatus measures continuous changes in blood pressure, heart rate and respiration rate in order to aid in the detection of deception (Larson, Haney, & Keeler, 1932; McCormick, 1927 Popularly referred to as a lie detector test, is a device or procedure that measures and records several physiological indicators such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and skin conductivity while a person is asked and answers a series of questions.
"Actus reus (/ˈæktəs ˈreɪəs/), sometimes called the external element or the objective element of a crime, is the Latin term for the "guilty act" which, when proved beyond a reasonable doubt in combination with the mens rea, "guilty mind", produces criminal liability in the common law−based criminal law jurisdictions of England and Wales, Canada, Australia, India, Kenya, Pakistan, Philippines, South Africa, New Zealand, Scotland, Nigeria, Ghana, Ireland, Israel and the United States of America. In the United States, Some crimes also require proof of attendant circumstances and/or proof of a required result directly caused by the actus reus". Everipedia

Marijuana as medicine has effectively been utilized to treat PTSD and is also utilized for aid with chronic pain, neuropathy, Parkinson's, cancer treatment, seizure disorders and autoimmune diseases.
The ancestor to every experience is thought, feeling, action and reaction. With integrated cognitive behavioral therapy approaches applying condition, cognition and response principles, we anticipate a decrease in negative episodes of mania, pain and nerve suppression through energy regulation and the use of combined bioenergetics integrating physics, biology and behavioral psychology, culture education practises..
Behaviors formulated based on culture systems programming, meaning foundational experiences providing the "standard" of feelings, acceptable and not acceptable behaviors, through cognitive behavioral training and classical conditioning (Pavlov principles) "reprogramming the basis of the biology of belief , one reconciles to truth and reaches absolution finding peace in the solution."
